Applying and Qualifying

Our deepest condolences to you and your family in the loss of your precious little one. We know that no amount of love and support will take your pain away, but we hope to be able to provide as much as we can. Please review the qualifications below to see if you can apply for financial assistance:

• The baby who passed away was at least 20 weeks gestation at the time s/he passed.
• The family must be current residents of Ohio.
• Medical bill(s) paid must only be associated with the birth of the baby.

The CAL Foundation will pay current delivery bill(s) related to the birth of the stillborn baby. We are not able to provide payment for prior doctors’ visits, check-ups, aftercare, or any past due/in collections bills. The amount of financial assistance will not exceed $1000 per family. Payments made by The CAL Foundation will be made directly to the hospital or institution issuing the bill(s).
