Board of Directors
We are so grateful for the wonderful members of our Board.
Chad & Sarah Longfield, Co-Founders, Vice President & President
Chad and Sarah live in Strongsville with their 3 living children. He is in engineering and she works in product management. When their son Caleb passed away in 2015, they felt driven to do something to help others in their same situation. Shouldering some of the burden of the financial responsibility has given them a sense of purpose through this unimaginable pain. Through The CAL Foundation, Sarah has also become very involved in the PAIL community in Ohio. She is a Board member on both Angel Eyes, Ohio Chapter as well as the Hope Still Lives Project.
Lisa Denholm, CPA, Treasurer
Tomasina Green, MPH, Director
Tomasina lives in Stow with her husband Adam and two children. She works at University Hospitals as a Manager of Quality and Transformation within the Population Health Department/Accountable Care Organization. Having known Sarah for nearly her entire life, she has had the privilege of walking alongside her through every major life journey, including the loss of Caleb. Their experiences and deep bond fuel her passion for supporting families affected by stillbirth. As a member of the Board of Directors, she is committed to honoring the memory of these precious lives and helping to ease the burden for loss parents through compassion, support, and meaningful resources.
Kelly Hollis, Director
Kelly lives in the Cleveland area with her husband and son. She is an IT Manager and proud Ohio State alumni. Kelly and her family got to know the Longfields when their boys attended the same daycare center. She enjoyed talking with Sarah most mornings before work and watching their boys grow up together at such an exciting age. Seeing Sarah prepare for Caleb's arrival and endure losing him left Kelly feeling helpless. When Sarah and Chad formed The CAL Foundation, getting involved offered an opportunity to support their incredible mission to help other families in similar situations, and serves as a way to continue to honor Caleb's memory. As a member of the Board of Directors, Kelly is committed to CAL's mission of providing financial relief and support to families enduring the profound loss of a stillborn baby.
Crystal Mosca MD, Director
Crystal lives in Strongsville with her husband Jeff and two daughters. She was lucky enough to become friends with Sarah and Chad as neighbors and fellow soccer parents. Crystal is a family physician and Associate CMIO for University Hospitals Cleveland. Having seen the tragedy of pregnancy and infant loss from both a professional sense and in the lives of friends, she feels blessed to have an opportunity to help the mission Sarah and Chad are driving to decrease the burden on parents suffering these losses.
